Massa Is Disappointing Says Todt

Dale Calkins

Ferrari Team Principal Jean Todt admits that he is disappointed with Felipe Massa's performances this year. This only further leads to the assumption that Felipe Massa will get the boot from Ferrari next year to make way for a Schumacher/Raikkonen mega team. Speaking to the Neuen Zurcher Zeitung newspaper Todt had this to say about Massa's situation at Ferrari:

"At this moment, I did expect better results from him, but I'm sure they will come.

I like Massa a lot. He is intelligent, able and formula one hasn't yet gone to his head, unlike some others."

Regardless as to whether or not Massa can turn things around in 2006, with Schumacher wanting to continue racing and Raikkonen's signing reportedly to be announced at Imola, the young Brazilian is certainly out of a drive.
