Montezemolo On Schumacher And 2006

Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo talks about Michael Schumacher and what Ferrari need to accomplish in 2006. Montezemolo is confident that the new Ferrari 248 F1 is the right car and that Michael and Felipe are the right drivers for the job.

First on Michael Schumacher and his future with Ferrari: "He will decide. For me, I believe he has everything he needs to stay at the sport's highest level for two more years. But if he tells us in the middle of the season that he is no longer motivated, we will be sad, but we will understand, because motivation is important not only in sport, but in your life."

Montezemolo also commented on how how 2006 will be extremely important for Ferrari: "We had six years of continued success, but I don't want to give the impression that it's the end of an era."
