Jean Todt has revealed that the Ferrari F2006 has already been fired up and is ready to go. The F2006 will take to the track for the first time next week during a closed test at the Fiorano Circuit in Italy. Here is what Todt had to say regarding the new scarlet contender:

"We started the car on Friday for the first time and at the beginning of next week we are going to start private testing at Fiorano. There is a possibility that we will run this Monday and then we will do some tests for a few days with Michael in Fiorano.

After that, we are going to do some tests in our workshops and then on Tuesday the 24th, we are going to present the car in Mugello during some testing and we are going to present it with our partners and the press."

Ferrari 1 will have all of your coverage for the F2006 launch on the 24th. Photos, wallpapers, specifications and team interviews will all be available right here on your ultimate Ferrari resource site.
