Michael Schumacher is quite upbeat about the upcoming 2006 Formula 1 season. Ferrari's recent test at the Jerez circuit is Spain yielded very positive results and Schumacher believes Ferrari will be near the top next year. Here is what the 7-Time World Champion had to say:

"My feeling about the coming season is not too bad. The Jerez tests did please me, but of course it is much too early to make predictions, because the cars were not all in comparable configurations.

At last, when I stepped out of the car, I had a satisfying feeling. We seem to have done a very good job with the V8. In 2006, we want to have a say in the outcome of the title again."
