Schumacher To Leave Ferrari For McLaren

Rumors have been circulating that Michael Schumacher is so fed up with Ferrari's pace that he will join McLaren Mercedes. The 7-time World Champion was seen talking to Mercedes' Norbert Haug twice and that has sent tongues wagging.

Rumors have been circulating that Michael Schumacher is so fed up with Ferrari's pace that he will join McLaren Mercedes. The 7-time World Champion was seen talking to Mercedes' Norbert Haug twice and that has sent tongues wagging.

Germany's Bild magazine has claimed that Michael Schumacher and Norebert Haug have met twice in Bernie Ecclestone's motor home, once in Hungary and then again in Turkey. Haug confirmed these rumours, saying:

"It is true that we met, but we spoke only about the future of formula one. I take it as rather unlikely that he would leave Ferrari.""

Michael Schumacher was quick to dismiss these rumours even though he is obviously frustrated with Ferrari at the moment. Here is what Schumache had to say about a switch:

"I don't even want to comment on the rumours. Everyone knows how closely linked Ferrari and I are."
