Jean Todt talks about the French GP weekend so far and celebrates his 12 years in Formula 1, in a very "Todt-like" way. Todt believes that Ferrari can manage an excellent result in his home race at the Magny-Cours circuit.

Jean Todt: 12 Years On

DCX

Ferrari's Team Principal Jean Todt, has made a major contribution to Formula 1 and more specifically Ferrari over the past 12 years. Todt first took to the pit wall 12 years ago today at the French Grand Prix, his home race. Here is what Jean Todt had to say:

“We went through our usual Friday programme, centred on defining the best set-up on the cars and carrying out a comparison of the two types of Bridgestone tyre available to us. It is too early to make any predictions and now we have to study the data to be as well prepared as possible for qualifying and for the race. Although I’m not particularly keen on celebrating anniversaries, the fact of being here at Magny-Cours on 1st July means I cannot help but think back to this day twelve years ago, when I took charge of the Gestione Sportiva.”

Surely, all Tifosi can thank Jean Todt for what he has done for Ferrari over the years.
