Marc Gene was on track today for the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro team during testing at The Catalunya Circuit. The Ferrari test driver was slowest on the day, behind Renault's Fernando Alonso and Giancarlo Fisichella. Circuit: Catalunya circuit, 4.627 km

First day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, at the Catalunya Circuit on the outskirts of Barcelona.

At the wheel of an F2004 M, Marc Gene ran a Bridgestone tyre development test programme. He completed a total of 109 laps, the quickest in a time of 1’15”868.

Testing goes on tomorrow, once again with the Spanish test driver on track.
