Drivers Reject
Schumacher's
Formula 1 Return

Formula 1 drivers Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso are apparently not in favor of Michael Schumacher's return paddock at the Spanish Grand Prix this weekend. Both drivers resent the fact that Schumacher will again be the center of attention in Formula 1, especially as the two of them think their own battle should be the most important issue.

Raikkonen's comments have been kept out of the press, though his thoughts are apparently quite well known. Alonso however, shared his thoughts on Michael's return:

"He was in F1 for fifteen years but personally I do not miss him. Okay, fighting against him was not unpleasant, but now we have a big battle with Massa, Raikkonen and Hamilton. It seemed like, with Michael, we had come to a point where it was all a bit monotonous."

Raikkonen and Alonso's opinions on Schumacher's return are not surprising. In fact, most drivers are likely to be somewhat upset that Michael will be stealing the spotlight. Regardless, the Tifosi are extremely excited about their Champion's return to the track.
