Schumacher Would
Never Race
For McLaren
Michael Schumacher has stated that he would never race for McLaren, largely because of his dislike for Ron Dennis. Despite many talks with McLaren the 7-Time World Champion states that it simply would never have worked out with Ron Dennis. This is what Michael had to say about why he never joined McLaren:

"Ron Dennis. Everything with Mercedes ran very well and we could have found a way but Ron had another view of how an F1 team should function.

I had several discussions and meetings with McLaren Mercedes, even as early as Monaco in 1995. But we didn't really fit each other so nothing came of it."
