Now Ferrari Say It Wasn't Massa's Fault

Ferrari Team Principal Jean Todt has now stated that Felipe Massa's 3rd place result was Ferrari's fault and not the Brazilian's. This is somewhat contrary to Todt and Brawn's previous comments that Felipe Massa had let down Ferrari by not placing ahead of Fernando Alonso at the French Grand Prix. This is what Todt had to say:

"Felipe is doing a great job. He just had a different strategy. He was less than a tenth behind Michael on the starting grid and we had a different strategy. We were on three pit stops, our main opposition was on two and Felipe had traffic and our strategy for him was not the best."

So now we have been left to believe it was Ferrari's fault for having a poor strategy for Felipe... I would however still suggest that having Massa hold up Fernando Alonso, is what lost Massa 2nd place. Sure Ferrari ensured that Michael Schumacher would win without a doubt but they sacrficed to much with regards to Felipe. "
