Nick Heidfeld is looking to make it a third year in a row scoring a points finish in the Malaysian Grand Prix this weekend while Giorgio looks forward to completing his second Grand Prix and learning a new track.

Both of Jordan's drivers arrived early in Kuala Lumpur so that they can acclimatise to the Malaysian heat and humidity.  All of the drivers can expect to loose up to 2kg's in weight during the race and as most of this is fluid, they need to be kept replenished and read to handle the heat.

Jordan's third driver Timo Glock received a birthday surprise from Giorgio as the German lad celebrates his 22nd birthday today.  However he won't be celebrating today as he's in preparation for the mornings free practice.  Perhaps he can celebrate along with the rest of the team on Sunday Night.  If Eddie's got anything to do with it, St Patrick's Day won't have been forgotten either!

"I am looking forward to this race very much." said Nick.  " I scored points here the last two seasons and of course I would like to do it again.  I hope that we have more success than in Melbourne and I am optimistic because there are some differences with the tyres and the car for this weekend and hopefully we will get something out of analysing our last race."

“I think the track looks beautiful and hopefully will be easier to learn than Albert Park." commented Giorgio.  "The heat and humidity is a little bit worrying but have I travelled to Kuala Lumpur early to train in these climate conditions.  It’s my second Grand Prix and I’m keen to see what we can do - I know the car and team better so I hope we can achieve an improved result.  The last race was a good experience for me and for sure, there’s a lot more to come."
