Jim Given Go Ahead

Town manager Jim Magilton has been given the go ahead by the Town board to make his first summer signing.

Jim and first team coach Bryan Klug have been sorting through a list of players who are currently available, but Jim says he won’t be rushing into any signings.

 

Jim: “I'm keen to bring in a new face or two and the Board has now given me clearance to step up the search, I'm taking calls from agents every day about this player and that player being available but we won't be rushing into any decision.

 

“It's important we find the right player that will bring the qualities we feel will compliment the current crop of players we have here.

 

“At the moment the funding we have received via the share issue allows us the option to bring in that first player but if that investment increases then the likelihood goes up of further players coming in which obviously I'm hoping for.”
