Wilnis: Blame Us

Town defender Fabian Wilnis says Town fans should blame the players not the manager for the recent lack of form or performances.

Speaking before Town’s game against Watford earlier today, Wilnis said: Don't blame the manager, It is the players who are letting him down.

“Trust me, the manager is doing a great job and working very hard.

“I have every faith in him and like the rest of the squad I am looking forward to next season with great anticipation.

“Us players should take a long, hard look at ourselves in the mirror.

“Since the Preston defeat when our play-off hopes disappeared, we have gone off the boil.

“We keep talking about getting back on track, but seven games without a win is long enough. It is time to put our words into action.”
