Ipswich Town midfielder Jim Magilton says Town can not afford to slip up again this season if they are to make the play-offs.

Jim: “I can see it going to the wire in terms of who goes up with Reading, not just for that second automatic spot but also right down to sixth place, Coventry, Wolves, Cardiff and Norwich will also be hoping, like ourselves, that they can finish the season with a run of victories and that Preston slip up.

 

“We can only concentrate on ourselves at this stage and while we know it's going to be a tall order to finish in the top six places, it's not out of reach yet.

 

“There is no real room for error now, though. We have seven games left and there can be no more slips up. It looks like we will have to win seven out of seven to really turn up the heat on the clubs above us.

 

“Even then it will still be out of our hands what happens but at least if we can finish the season with a real flourish then we can say we gave it a right go - and we'll see where it takes us.”
