Barron Run Extended

Ipswich Town defender Scott Barron has signed a new deal that will keep him at Town until the summer of 2008.

The 20-year-old defender would have been out of contract in the summer but his success in the first team has lead to him being offered this extension.  

 

Scott: “I'm delighted to have been offered and signed a new contract, I knew it was a big season for me, what with me being out of contract in the summer but always felt that if I could break in to the side then a new deal would follow.

 

“Obviously being out injured for virtually the whole year last season didn't help me progress but this season has been great for me.

 

“I am getting a regular run in the side and am learning all the time from the players around me.”
