Alan A Doubt

Ipswich Town striker Alan Lee is a doubt for Town’s game against 6th placed Preston on Saturday at Deepdale.

Alan tore his hamstring in Town’s 2-1 win against Crewe two weeks ago and it is hoped he will return to training on Thursday and possibly be involved against Preston on Saturday.

 

Town physio Dave Williams: “That is what we are aiming for.

 

“We will check on Alan's hamstring this week and see if the tear has completely healed and will then take it from there.

 

“He has been making progress and has been working with our fitness coach Simon Thadani but at this stage it's touch and go whether he will be fit for the Preston match.”
