Royle’s Reaction: Wolves

Reaction from Town manager Joe Royle following Town’s 1-0 defeat against Wolves at Molineux earlier today.
Joe: “I'm proud of every one of the players and thought we were magnificent, I could only see Wolves causing us problems from set-pieces and we passed them to death for long periods.
“The referee made some strange decisions to say the least and why he asked me to calm Darren Currie down at half-time when the lad has been on the end of some bad tackles, I've no idea.
“But I had no complaints with the penalty decision. He got that one right. Sito had a terrific game but he didn't need to make the tackle. No one is going to out run him.
“It was a terrific performance from us but we lacked a cutting edge and it was a display reminiscent of us before Alan Lee arrived when we played well, had bags of possession but no one there to put the chances away.”
