Royle’ Reaction: Crewe

Reaction from Town manager Joe Royle following Town’s 2-1 win against Crewe Alexandra at earlier tonight.

Royle: “I was very pleased with the performance and felt we dominated the game from the moment they scored, it was a great strike from Dean and he showed tremendous energy in the game, just like the other kids in the team.

 

“He's got a lot about him and now he needs to take it on from here and show us what he can do.

 

“It would be nice to get through a game without an injury.

 

“Alan has been troubled a little by the injury for the last couple of games and we are hoping it just cramped us a bit.

 

“It's feeling easier than it was when he came off and we'll have to see how he reacts over the next 24 hours.”
