Team news, manager previews, betting odds and the officials ahead of Towns game against Crystal Palace on Boxing Day.

A win for Town will see them go level with Palace on points but they will have to do it without the services of, Kevin Horlock who is back from a knee injury but boxing day will come to soon for him to take any part, Adam Proudlock is also out with a knee injury and Sam Parkin is a long way off a return.

 

Town manager Joe Royle: “Palace are one of the strongest sides in the division, despite their league position at the moment, which they will be disappointed with.

 

“They have forwards that we would all envy and, with Macken coming back, along with Johnson, Morrison and Freedman, you would expect them to improve in the second half of the season, as I expect us to.”

Palace boss Iain Dowie will be unable to call upon the services of, Aki Riihilahti, Danny Granville and Danny Butterfield who are all out injured while Emmerson Boyce is suspended.
