M. Bent Linked With Charlton

Reports in tabloid newspapers have linked former Town striker Marcus Bent with a move from Everton to Charlton.

Bent who left Town in the summer of 2004 for £450,000 has fallen out of favour on Merseyside this season, after scoring just once in 19 appearances for the toffees.

 

If Bent does join former Town team mates Matt Holland, Darren Ambrose, Hermann Hreidarsson and Darren Bent Town will be due part of the transfer fee.
