Ipswich Town goalkeeper Lewis Price has been linked with a January move to Premiership side Wigan Athletic.

Wigan boss Paul Jewell is believed to be looking for a new goalkeeper and Hull City’s 23-year-old American goalkeeper Boaz Myhill currently tops the list with a £2million bid being prepared but if Wigan fail to land him a bid for Price is expected.

Town chairman David Sheepshanks has said that Town will not need to sell any one in the January transfer window if the club does manage to restructure its debt.

Other clubs are also believed to be watching the progress of the 21-year-old Wales international goalkeeper.
