De Vos On Draw

Ipswich Town defender Jason De Vos believes Town should have taken all three points against QPR today but is happy with the one.

De Vos got his first goal of the season when headed Town level in the 34th minute following Stefan Moore’s opener for QPR.

De Vos: “We had enough chances to win two games, in the end it was a good point - to score late in the game is always a plus but it's unfortunate that we couldn't come away with maximum points.

“Darren Currie put some great crosses in and we looked dangerous from set pieces and felt hard done by coming in at half time a goal down.

“When things are not going well everything seems to go against you. That's the way it's going for us at the moment but credit to the lads they went out in the second-half and stuck to their guns and kept playing football.

“In the end, we got our reward for that and we showed a lot of character to come back and equalise.”
