Team news, manager previews, betting odds and the officials ahead of Towns game against Queens Park Rangers tomorrow.

Ipswich will be without midfielder Kevin Horlock and striker Adam Proudlock because of knee problems.

Town will have to do without the services of Kevin Horlock and Adam Proudlock who have knee injures while Sam Parkin is out long term. Fabian Wilnis is back after a ban and midfield duo Ian Westlake and Owen Garvan are both fit.

 

Town manager Joe Royle: “Ollie has done a great job there with nil budget.

 

“I am a great admirer of his and to hear reports that he is under pressure is amazing.

 

“Mind you, after the week we have just had in football, nothing surprises me anymore.”

 

Royle has also challenged strikers ahead tomorrows game, saying: “With Sam out for months and Jay McEveley back at Blackburn after damaging his medial knee ligaments, we will be shortlisting front players and a left-back to come in, we will have a number of triallists in over the next few weeks to see how they get on.

 

“Scoring goals has been a problem for us this season and the value of your front players is so important.

 

“We are looking to bring in players in that area but the challenge to the strikers here is to say to me 'if you are considering a front player, he has got to do better than me'.”

 

If you thought Town had problems with injuries you must feel for Ian Holloway who is without Matthew Rose, Marc Bircham, Steve Lomas, Tommy Doherty, Marc Nygaard and Kevin Gallen are out. Former Town defender George Santos is fit after a shoulder injury.
