Royle Praise For Gavin

Ipswich Town manager has praised the performance of on-loan West Ham midfielder Gavin Williams on his Town debut.

The 25-year-old midfielder is on-loan from premiership side West Ham for a month and he got his month of to a great start when he scored Town’s goal against Coventry on Saturday.

 

Royle: “It was an outstanding debut from Williams and we have lots to look forward to there.

 

“He got into the box from midfield and we have not had that since Tommy Miller left.

 

“We are still looking for the right balance in midfield but I was delighted with Gavin.”
