Ipswich Town midfielder Matt Richards says he is enjoying his role as midfielder at Town as it allows him to get forward more.
Matt has been playing as a midfielder for the last three games and third time lucky he scored for the first time since he push forward when he got Town’s third in the 3-3 draw with Derby.
Matt: “I have played in midfield for the reserves so it's not a new position to me and I really enjoy the role, it gives me the freedom to get around the pitch and join the attack and that's part of the game I really enjoy.
“I'm enjoy the work side of playing in the middle of the park as well, having the energy to get up and down the pitch.
“The goal was a nice bonus against
“Darren drove in a great cross and I just managed to get my head to it. It's the third goal I have scored for the Club and they have all been decent ones!”
