Currie Enjoying Town Time

Ipswich Town midfielder says his time at Town has been the happiest time in his footballing career to date.

Currie joined Town from Brighton last December for £250,000 becoming the first player to join Town for a fee in three years.

Currie: “This is the happiest I've ever been in my career. I'm relaxed and comfortable and hopefully that shows in my football at the moment, although I had my worst game in an Ipswich shirt at Leeds two weeks ago.

“Last season was hard for me because I joined what was already a well-oiled machine.

“Now I'm an established senior play and it feels good.

“There is a fear-factor in the Premiership, whereby teams are desperate not to lose.

“That's their main objective right from the start. In the Championship, every team is always capable of beating their opponents and that makes things very exciting. It's such an inconsistent division.”
