Mahon To Be Linked?

According to reports in one of today’s tabloids former Ipswich Town loanee Alan Mahon is going to be allowed to be loaned out from Wigan.

The 27-year-old midfielder spent time on-loan at Town in the 2003/2004 season and got one goal in his 7 starts during that spell, injury cut short the loan spell and he was sold to Wigan later that season.

 

If the reports that Wigan are willing to allow him to go out on-loan are true, Town manager Joe Royle may want to take the Irishman to Portman road as cover for the injured Ian Westlake.
