Peters Praise For Mourinho

Ipswich Town midfielder Jaime Peters has revealed he is a fan of Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.

The 18-year-old had the chance to join Chelsea before signing for Town in the summer and he has revealed he is a fan of Mourinho.

 

Peters: “At Manchester United I met Sir Alex Ferguson and all the first-team players and they were very friendly but I didn't train with them.

 

“At Chelsea I did train with the first-team and I really enjoyed my time there. I also spoke to the manager, Jose Mourinho, a few times as well.

 

“I really like him as a coach. When you see him on TV, you think he will be a bit arrogant but when you meet him, you see he's a really nice guy. He's also a very clever coach.

 

“I was really impressed but I knew it would be really hard to get into their first-team. I had other clubs interested in me as well but Ipswich was always my favourite.”
