Proudlock Given Trial

Former Sheffield Wednesday striker will be training with the Ipswich Town squad next as he tries to revive his football career.

The 24-year-old was sacked by Sheffield Wednesday earlier this month but Town manager Joe Royle is not interested in his past, only his future, which may be at Portman road.

 

Royle: “We will have Adam here next week and look at him during that time, he was released by Sheffield Wednesday for a breach of club rules but that's in the past now and he's now looking for a clean start.

 

“All that we are interested in at the moment is his football ability and we'll get an idea of that next week.”

 

Adam started his career at Wolves before moving on to Wednesday in 2003 for a fee of £150,000, he found the net six times last season before injury cut his season short.
