JR: New Faces Unlikely For Sunday

Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle says it is unlikely that Town will have a loan signing in place for Sunday’s East Anglian Derby.

Town are currently running short on players with first team experience for Sunday’s game: Ian Westlake is out for at least two months, Fabian Wilnis is out for around three weeks, Nicky Forster is still not ready for a return while Jim Magilton has an arthritic toe and Joe does not expect any players coming in for Sunday.

 

Joe: “We are actively looking to bring in a player or two on loan, at the moment though it looks unlikely that we will have anyone here before Sunday.”
