Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle believes his defence is now better equipped to cope with the challenge of Championship football.
Royle will have three players available for Saturdays game against
Town manger Joe Royle: “I now have no worries about our ability to defend. We know what Jason and Richard can do and Jay can either play at left back or in the centre.
“We must not forget Fabian Wilnis who has filled in for Jason magnificently since the first match of the season. The back four player who does not make the starting line-up on Saturday can consider himself unlucky.
“What money we have got left in the kitty will go towards loan players, but for other positions than at the back.”
