Seeking Defensive Midfielder

Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle says he is asking premier league clubs about the possibility of loaning a defender who can play as a defensive midfielder.

It’s no secret that Town’s squad is wafer thin and that Joe is keen on bringing in versatile players to help plug the gaps in the squad.

 

Royle: “We are looking at Premiership clubs with a view to taking a player on a three or six-month loan.

 

“The position I want to fill is a defender who can also play as a defensive midfielder.”
