Price Set For Return

Ipswich Town goalkeeper Lewis Price is set to return to action for Town this weekend against Sheffield Wednesday.

The 21-year-old goalkeeper gashed his knee in Town's 0-0 draw against Leicester City last weekend and was forced to miss Wales' friendly against Slovenia last night and he was rated as 50/50 for Saturday's game against the owls but he is expected to return to training today and play against Wednesday.

Town manager Joe Royle: “We are hoping Lewis will be back training today but if not it will be tomorrow, he has made good progress this week and has a big chance for Saturday.

“If he doesn't make it though we won't have any worries about putting Shane in. We have great confidence in both our 'keepers.

“With Kelvin Davis going in the summer we had to make a decision and we went for staying with the two lads and I'm glad we have given them a chance.”
