De Vos Latest

It has emerged today that Ipswich Town defender Jason De Vos is unlikely to be fit for Towns championship game against Millwall.

De Vos has been out of action since the season opener against Cardiff City after cracking two ribs and it was hoped he would be fit in time to play Millwall next month, it now looks as of that is unlikely .

Town physio Dave Williams: “Jason has been very uncomfortable and the type of injury he has, a displacement of the ribs, is particularly painful, it's not an injury that you can treat. He can only go by the doctor's advice and take things at the pace he's told and let nature take its course.

I know the Millwall game was mentioned as a possible target for his return but he's a long way off making that at the moment.”
