Super Al Thanks Town

Former Ipswich Town striker Alun Armstrong has thanked Town for helping him battle back from a number of minor injuries.

The 30-year-old striker left Town in the summer of 2004 after making 94 appearances for Town and joined league two side Darlington, but he is now out of contract again and looking for a new club with the help of Town.

Armstrong: “I can't thank Joe and Ipswich enough for what they have done for me over the last two years, when I've been injured they have let me use the facilities at the training ground and also helped with my general fitness.

“I'm just about recovered from a lower back injury and am working towards match fitness and Ipswich have helped me all the way by allowing me to train at the Club.

“We still live in the area. My family love it down here and we don't want to move away from Suffolk but I need to find a new club so we might have to do that.”
