Peters Wants To Repay Town

Ipswich Town new boy Jaime Peters wants to repay Town on the pitch after Town won a long battle to get him a work permit.

The 18-year-old Canadian international originally agreed to sign for Town back in February and was due to sign officially for Town when he turned 18 in May but his request for a work permit was turned down which started a long appeal process to try and get him a permit which was won last month and Peters wants to re-pay Town for trying to get him.

 

Peters: “I was certainly worried that I wouldn't be able to play for Ipswich when the first application for a work permit was turned down, Ipswich worked hard to sort things out for me though and I'm very thankful to them for that. Hopefully I can pay the Club back now on the pitch.

 

“I'm really enjoying my time here already and want to play my part in making this a successful season for Ipswich Town.”
