Ferguson Admits Town Soft Spot

Rangers captain Barry Ferguson says he will be watching out for Town’s results and hoping they can make it back into the premier league this year.
The 27-year-old midfielder had a trial spell with Town 13 years ago and admits he has had a soft spot for us ever since.
Ferguson: “I went down to England and had trials with Manchester United, Everton, Tottenham, Ipswich and a number of other clubs. I just wanted to have a good look round.
“No club made me more welcome than Ipswich. I trained alongside the first-team players and that didn't happen anywhere else. They were friendly and made me very welcome, and I have some happy memories of being down there.
“I will be keeping an eye out for Ipswich's results. I really do hope they have a good season and get back into the Premiership.”
