Clarke To Town?

According to reports in an Irish newspaper Ipswich Town are targeting Stoke City defender Clive Clarke.

The 25-year-old defender has a year left on his stoke contract but it is believed that the potters want to cash in on their captain rather than see have him leave next summer for nothing.

 

It is well know Joe wants at least one more defender before the new season starts and possibly another midfielder and Clive can play as both a left back but spent large parts of last season playing in the centre of midfield.

 

Clive is 6ft 1in tall and has made over 250 appearances for Stoke, where he has been for 9 years and it is now believed he wants to move on and has been linked with Sunderland, Sheffield United and Burnley.
