Joe: Unsworth Unlikely

Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle says it is looking less likely that David Unsworth will be joining Town from Portsmouth.

The 31-year-old defender, who spent the last 3 months of last season on-loan at Portman Road and played 16-games during that time and Unsworth is one of two defenders Royle has short-listed.

 

Royle: “It's not looking good.

 

“Our chairman is speaking to Portsmouth's chief executive, but as things stand it will need a big change in the situation if David is going to be joining us.”
