Ipswich Town defender Jason De Vos is dismissing Town’s league results against west ham ahead of tomorrow’s play-off semi final.
Town
got just one point off the Hammers from two games, that coming in the 1-1 draw
at Upton Park back in September while the hammers got all three points at
Portman Road inflicting Town’s first home defeat of the season on New Year’s
Day, but De Vos believes those results have no baring on the two games against
West Ham in the next 5 days.
De Vos: “This is the
start of a new season for us. We have completed a 46-game season but that counts
for nothing. All those results mean nothing.
“We know we have a
two-game season and a battle over two legs against West Ham to go into the final
game. It is not going to be easy, but we have a lot of belief in ourselves and
know we can do it.
“We
are going to need a bit of luck, but look at
“I
have a lot of confidence that we will be able to go up ourselves this
season.”
