Scowie’s Future Unsure

On-loan Leicester City striker James Scowcroft is still no closer to knowing where he will be playing his football next season.

The 29-year-old striker is on-loan at Town from Leicester City has yet to score since returning to Portman Road would love to be with Town season as he feels he has no future at The Walkers Stadium.

Scowcroft: “Reading between the lines I don't think I have any chance of getting a new contract with Leicester, although nothing has been said officially.

“It would be fantastic if I could be with Ipswich again next season, but my loan spell has been disappointing. I have yet to score and a goal could change everything.”

Scowcroft’s other team, Leicester beat Derby County last night to ensure Towns place in the top three.
