Scott Out For Season
Ipswich Town defender Scott Barron is going to miss the rest of the season because of a troublesome groin injury.
The 19-year-old has already missed most of this season with a groin injury that has already required one operation and it has now been deemed another one is needed.
Scott has made a handful of appearance for the first team, both in cup games the first against Brentford in the Carling Cup back August. Obviously Scott is disappointed to miss the rest of the season but not too downhearted.
Scott: “I've seen the specialist and he wanted me to train and play in the reserve game against Cambridge last week so that he could see the problem at its worst, I'm obviously disappointed that I've got to have more surgery but injuries are part of the game and I have to get on with it.
“The operation means I will be out for the rest of the year but at least it means I can concentrate on getting fit through the summer and can come back 100 per cent for the start of the new season.”
