Irish striker Darryl Murphy will be returning to Portman Road for a second trial period at the end of the month.

Irish striker Darryl Murphy will be returning to Portman Road for a second trial period at the end of the month.

Darryl did enjoy a brief spell on trial before Christmas last year but had to return to Ireland after picking up a hamstring injury but he did enough in that short time to earn him self a second chance.

Darryl currently plays for Waterford United in the Irish league and will be at Portman Road starting on the 28th of this month and returning to Ireland on the 1st of April.
