Reaction from Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle following yesterdays 1-1 draw with Preston North End at Deepdale.

Royle: “I'm delighted with the point because it was a disappointing performance from us, all credit to them., they are a decent side, got at us from the first whistle and hounded us all over the park.

“The crowd got right behind them and we just didn't get going at all in the first-half.

“We improved after the break but still didn't pass the ball as well as I would have liked and I feel a bit like Dick Turpin coming away with a point.

“But we'll take it and I've always said we have a goal in us.”
