Ipswich Town Chairman David Sheepshanks has praised the skills of Town manager Joe Royle after he convinced David Unsworth to join Town on loan.

Ipswich Town Chairman David Sheepshanks has praised the skills of Town manager Joe Royle after he convinced David Unsworth to join Town on loan.

Sheepshanks: “I'm very pleased that we have been able to support Joe and bring David on loan to Portman Road, it's a measure of Joe's statue in the game that he is able to attract a player of David's standing from the Premiership to strengthen our push for promotion.

“I'm sure all Town fans will give David a huge welcome and wish him well as he joins our quest for the Premiership.”
