Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle is disappointed that Town did not come away from Reading with all three points earlier today.

Royle: “I don't know how he got to it, we thought the ball was in, but a telescopic arm came out to keep it out.

“I thought he made a few decent saves, actually, and had a tremendous game all round.

“That was one of the best draws you will see. Reading is a hard place to come, not many teams will come here and pick up three points.

“Before the match I would probably have settled for a draw, but when you are 1-0 up in the last minute you expect to win and it is disappointing not to.

“I have to single out Richard Naylor, who was outstanding for us once again. He didn't put a foot wrong all day and has to be a candidate for our player of the season.”
