Ipswich Town striker Pablo Couñago believes that Town were well beaten during Sundays game with Sunderland.

Ipswich Town striker Pablo Couñago believes that Town were well beaten during Sundays game with Sunderland.

Pablo got just over half the game after coming on in the 43rd minute to replace injured striker Dean Bowditch and believes that Towns second half performance let them down.

Couñago: “We were doing alright in the first half and the game was very even.

“But we finished up well-beaten in the second half. Their first goal gave them a lot of confidence and we lost some of our concentration.

“It was disappointing but we can't afford to be too upset. We've been on a great winning run - now we've got to start another one.”
