Norris Bid Rejected?

Town have reportedly rejected a £250,000 bid from Portsmouth for midfielder David Norris, whose contract expires in the summer.

Norris is one of twenty Town players whose contract expires in the summer and it seems Portsmouth were just trying their luck with the offer for Norris who cost Town somewhere around £2 million in 2008.

Norris hasn't ruled out sorting out a move between now and the summer saying: "I could be out of work in five months' time so I have to look after myself. I can talk to other clubs if I want and that is a situation that I have to look at.

"Nobody is naïve enough to think that other clubs are not aware of a player's situation and my agent has been taking a few enquiries."
