O'Dea To Town

Celtic manager Neil Lennon says defender Darren O'Dea could be signing for Town on-loan on Monday. The 23-year-old spent three months on-loan at Reading last season playing 8 games before returning to Celtic in January where he found himself starting 5 games in a month and given the captains armband after Stephen McManus joined Middlesbrough and Gary Caldwell went to Wigan, he went on to make a total of 23 appearances for Celtic last year.

Lennon: "He doesn't want to be a squad player, he wants to play and I can't guarantee him that, Ipswich have made an enquiry to take him on loan so there is a possibility he will be down there on Monday.

"Ipswich have given him the opportunity to go and play and I think it will be good for him to get some games under his belt because we're bringing in other people allied to the ones we've got."
