Thatcher Contract Ended

Town have parted company with Ben Thatcher this afternoon after it became clear he was not in Town manager Roy Keane’s long term plans. The 34-year-old is fit following a knee injury but has never played under current Town manager Roy Keane, some of this could be down to his refusal to move nearer Town's training ground

Town chief executive Simon Clegg confirmed the end of Thatcher's contract saying: "Ben Thatcher's contract has been settled,"
